A year before today, there’s a boy who was very happy at that moment. He has almost everything that he himself considers as happiness. i.e. good friends, loving family, expensive things, an expensive phone, and so on.
He was living a life he dreamed to have.
But things won’t last forever. He started losing his friends, his parents constantly scolding him to do something in his life, and many more unpleasant things happen to him.
His life was completely changed and won’t be the same anymore.
Now he was lost in his own thoughts, thinking about what should he do now. He didn’t have any friends at that time, with whom he can consult anything.
He was all alone and depressed.
One night, he was in his bed unable to sleep and was thinking about his life, his old life. His better life.
Well, that’s the time when he truly finds himself, and find that the life he was living before was just an illusion. He realizes that true happiness doesn’t belong to such shitty expensive things, or with his so-called fake friends.
He realizes it that true happiness is within himself, and he didn’t need anyone or anything to make him happy.
All he needs is a roof on his head, a good meal, and clothes to wear.
He founds it that the more he simplifies his life, the more he de-own his things, the happier he becomes. He realizes it that happiness can’t be found in owing more but in satisfaction.
When he simplifies his life, declutter all the unwanted things, de-own all the unnecessary things, his path to the happiness become clear.
He said that “when he owes less, his vision becomes clearer.”
After that, he started working on his dream. The dream isn’t to be making money, to owe more expensive things. But to live a life where he owes less, but live more. To live a life where he earns the peace of mind, not the piece of money.
And that’s the time when he truly finds the happiness in his life.
“Minimalism is not the lack of something. It is the right amount of everything.”
Practical Ways to Be Happy When Everything Goes Wrong:
Well, you may have realized it from the story that life it’s not about the things you owe, but how happy you are.
But how can one really apply these things in his life?
How can one become happy even when everything goes wrong?
Well, first of all, to become happy you first need to understand the real meaning of happiness. And I didn’t say that you too should have the same exact meaning of happiness for you. But I am just saying that the happiness you’re seeking in others is temporary.
It’s not real, it’s just an illusion. Everybody and everything will be going to leave you. I know I know it’s mean, but it’s true.
So, I want you to first understand the real exact meaning of happiness.
“The secret of happiness is not found in seeking more, but in developing the capacity to enjoy less.”
So, now let’s talk about the real practical ways to find real happiness even in the darkest time of your life:
First, declutter and de-own what consumes you.
Instead of going behind those things or people who are sucking the happiness out from you, just let them go. Instead of seeking some expensive shitty things, be satisfied with your own shit.
Owe less, and live more. That’s the first thing you should have to do. It’s the first thing you should have to understand.
Seeking behind happiness, will not make you happy. creating happiness with what you have is going to make you happy.
So, create happiness with what you have, instead of wishing for what you want.
Wants, wishes, dreams are good, but to be happy, you didn’t need anything of them to be achieved. You can be happy on your own, with what you have.
Second, get rid of all your negative thoughts.
I know when things went wrong, our mind gets filled with every negative thought that can be thought in that situation.
But this is what you should have to change now. Now, instead of saying “why always me”, say “yeah try me.”
Positivity can be found in every negative situation, only if you have the courage to see it.
Now, don’t say that this is easy to say but hard to do. I have done it, and there’s just one simple question for you. “If I can do so, then why can’t you? I think I am not superhuman, or am I?”
Always keep in mind, “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the lights.”
Third, understand it that even if you’re alone, you’re enough.
This is what I want you to overcome.
You have to understand it that you’re enough, even if you’re alone. You didn’t need anyone to make you happy or to make things work out.
You can become happy on your own, and that’s what you going to do. Instead of seeking behind people, you’ll create happiness on your own.
“The happiest people do not have the best of everything. They make the best of everything that they have.”
So, this is it for today. Hope you like it. If you have any story regarding how you become happy when nobody is with you, let me know I the comment section below, or just email me. I would love to hear it from you.
